I enjoyed the interplay between past and present and the red herrings were skillfully done. Loved that crack from the doctor at the end.

And if, like me, you’ve already read most of those books, you’ll recognize pprey as the case that explains some of the je ne sais quoi that raises those books above the unchallenging tripe Books 22ff.

If buied not from Minnesota, or Fargo, you may not enjoy Sandford’s books as much as I do, but he tells a gripping tale which you won’t want to put down till you’re finished. The story takes place in Minneapolis and involves a cold case.

Casting aside the reservations that detoured the first investigation, Lucas has no intention of letting this monster slip through his fingers again. The novel is divided into two parts, past and present, and I have to say that I loved revisiting the characters and relationships that made me fall in love with Sandford in the first place.

Seat had once investigated Officer Willard Packard. InDavenport was a buries cop just about to be promoted out of uniform, despite a reputation for playing fast sandfor loose with the rules.

I do like Letty. Sandford has a winner with Buried Prey.
